The venue has air-conditioned rooms with a wood burning fireplace and wonderful shower, for instance and fabulously friendly staff.

Truly enjoyed our weekend in this absolutely charming and incredibly beautiful hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly from arrival until we left. Location: the venue was so close to the garden and the grounds known as widow-makers. It also was in the middle of jackson. It was great time in Norfolk.

Amazing place with free Wi-Fi, a lovely outdoor dining area, and a cozy leisure room. The staff helped me find a money exchange on my first visit. I highly recommend it for a romantic escape.

The staff was EXCELLENT, and we had the benefit of just 15 minutes' walk right to haystack mountain state park. The furnishings were period. We would book again, no complains at all. It is very close to the airport.

We enjoyed renting kayaks from Main Stream Canoes and explored the scenic beauty of the Housatonic River. The accommodations were comfortable, and the staff was friendly. Don't miss out on visiting some nearby lakes for a fun paddle! Perfect for a group getaway.

The only downside was the limited parking space, tricky when we arrived with multiple cars.

Charming inn, attentive staff, the delicious breakfasts made every morning a good start to the day, while the well-appointed room featured period correct furniture, a refreshing shower, and was conveniently located near outdoor activities such as hiking and cycling.

The food was really good, especially the veggie frittata and roasted potatoes at breakfast. The room we had was peaceful with a large tub.

It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

If I had to nitpick, the lack of a dedicated dinner service seemed like a missed opportunity, but honestly, the nearby eateries more than made up for it. We had our pick of killer local restaurants to satisfy our cravings.

Lovely Romantic Getaway!

Our 25th anniversary was magical! We loved the Victorian Suite, complete with flowers, champagne, and cookies. Breakfast in bed with fresh fruit and waffles set us up for hiking adventures. Don't miss the homemade omelets the second morning-so delicious! Perfect escape for couples!
